With the use of digital imaging, Joseph Robichaud Photography is now able to offer a considerable saving to its clients. Digital Imaging eliminates the costs associated with film technology, there are no film, processing or proofing costs so this saving can be passed along to the client. On major assignments, these costs can be substantial, based upon a $70.00 per roll film cost.

Thumbnail proofs are created of each image and emailed to you for viewing. If e-mail is not available, complete images are burned into a compact disk and delivered for viewing on your PC. Alternatively, proofs can be printed using state of the art in-house printing technology. Each method provides a cost effective means by which to purchase professional imaging

All digital images are optimized with Photoshop 6 to produce the best possible image. Corrections and enhancements include levels, brightness, contrast, colour balance, hue and saturation, and a number of additional filters as required.

The pricing of digital imaging is based upon the number of images required. The higher the number of images produced and purchased, the lower the cost per image. If there are special requirements to enhance an image or images based upon client specifications, an hourly rate will apply for images that require an hour or more to complete. The majority of images can be corrected and enhanced in a very short time frame.

Joseph Robichaud Photography offers professional film scanning with the Nikon Coolscan III Film Scanner. The Nikon Coolscan III is a professional level film scanner allowing scans of 35mm black and white and colour negatives and transparencies as well as APS film.

Depending on the number of images to be done, the scans can be e-mailed or placed on compact disc. If images are to be placed on CD, a one time fee of $15.00 applies plus cost of scans, if images are to be e-mailed, a one time fee of $10.00 applies, plus cost of scans.
